Behavior rules engine

A reward for any customer behavior

Set a trigger on any customer behavior and the engine issues the reward. The conditions are yours: earn more paying with debit than with credit, more in-app than in-store. Rewards can land as real, spendable money, not just points.

The problems it solves

Points that pile up move nothing

  • Idle points are a liability, not loyalty

Value that neither moves product nor customers.

  • Rewards shouldn't feel like homework

Traditional rewards programs issue points that are hard to track and harder to convert to value.

  • The rules should be yours to write

Reward rules are usually a take-it-or-leave-it menu, and conditions of your own aren’t on it.

Earned, held, and reconciled in one place

One balance, not a combination of different points and values: the customer sees a single number, and you get a record for every dollar, from the rule that created it to the purchase it drove.

Common questions

Rewards is the baseline program: the standing rules for what customers earn, and the engine that issues every reward into their balance. The Offer Engine creates special offers on top of it, and when an offer pays out, this engine issues the value. Most programs run both.

It reverses with the purchase. A payment that is declined, voided, or cancelled cancels the reward it produced, and a processed return reverses it the same way, so a returned basket does not leave paid-out value behind.

No. Eligibility is evaluated live during authorization and only the eligible portion redeems, with the rest staying in the wallet for a basket that qualifies. A $10 reward with a $25 minimum does not block a $20 sale, it just does not apply to it.

Yes. Earning, clearing, and expiry each emit an event, and the expiry warning carries the days remaining, so a campaign can go out before a reward dies rather than after.
